49 SOUTH VAN NESS | 1550 MISSION
Located on the highest-visibility parcel at the nexus of three of San Francisco’s iconic neighborhoods—SOMA, The Mission and Hayes Valley—1500 Mission Street is one block from the headquarters of Twitter, Uber, and Square, and just three blocks from City Hall, Davies Symphony Hall and the San Francisco Jazz Center. The development includes a 39-story, 530-unit luxury apartment tower adjacent to a 462,000 square foot office building that will be the new home of the San Francisco Planning, Building and Public Works Departments. This residential tower includes 55,000 square feet of neighborhood-serving retail space, with twenty percent of the residential units reserved for affordable and low-income households. TS studio is commissioned to develop the ground-level public plaza and streetscape. This project is completing construction in 2021.
